What Do You Think About The Debt Crisis?

As you have probably heard, Standard and Poor’s has downgraded the U.S. government from a “AAA” credit rating to just “AA”. This is the first time it has ever happened. The fierce debate, and eventual deal to raise the government’s debt ceiling combined with budget cuts to trim the deficit over the next decade, fell short of S&P’s expectations.

S&P said the government’s ability to manage its debt is “less stable, less effective and less predictable”, due to the political game on capitol hill.

Those are the facts. Now, to my opinion. The framers of this nation believed in a small government, with limited power, and state’s rights over federal rights. I believe in the same form of government the framer’s believed in.

I do not believe that we have “progressed” to a level of intellectual decadence that surpasses our forefathers. In fact, as a general rule, the populous of this country is far less educated and able to make intelligent decisions, than ever before in our nation’s history. Therefore, the progressive moment isn’t really progressive, but rather regressive.

The political agenda of the few to overpower and rule the many has been manifested in diminishing educational standards, the removal of God from the government and schools almost entirely, and the indoctrinating of the “entitlement” mentality through social programs.

Bottom line, we need to restore morality, and the belief in “freedom” with its corresponding demand of “personal responsibility”.

So my message to the people who govern our nation is this:

Stop spending our money, taking away our freedom, our morality, and our God!

We are…“one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
