According to RealtyTrac, from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2011, the number of homes that are moving through the foreclosure process fell 5%, from 36% to 31%. But the interesting thing is that these properties, on average, are now selling for 40% below the non-foreclosure properties.
That’s an absolutely huge difference.
And it goes back to what I have been saying, that now is the time to buy. So talk to your agent, or get on the MLS and start looking for those deals, they are definitely out there!
