I love reading this kind of thing, it really pumps me up, especially with my new real estate website and promotion system so soon to be released. Scott Eagle maxed out his credit cards and risked his savings to expand his real estate agency in El Cajon.

Q: Words of wisdom for people who want to start their own business like you did?

A: Do your research. I did six months of research before I made the decision. Find your niche, and then just go for it. Remember to be in it for the right reasons.

  1. I agree with Scott in that social media marketing must be balanced in order to truly engage your audience. We have found that manually posting content, videos, contests, news, etc. works much more effectively than using a simple RSS feeder. People are much more willing to interact and the posting seems more natural.
